Revenge.
---
When is revenge justified? When a life is lost in the pursuit of something deadly? When you corner a predator, be it vampire or tiger or even an innocent stingray, and it strikes and kills you or a loved one? What do you expect going into their area? You know what they can do. You can't blame them for killing to defend themselves or even just to eat? If you know there is danger, and you remain, and a human life is lost, you have no right to seek revenge. The lost life was because he or she was in where there was danger.
You were in Lucard's territory Uncle Gustav. He was in his right to kill or turn whoever he likes. You should respect his territory, he is a predator. You knew this going in.
By seeking revenge, you are no better than the countless others who kill off endangered species because they are a threat to humans. What are vampires but the ultimate endangered predator?
