It has been a long time since I have last posted! I know if I don't post on Sundays I will be mad at myself for not doing it later, even though I feel as though I don't have a lot to talk about right now...but I'm at work and Kill Bill Vol. 1 is on tv *YAY!* so I figured I might as well.

Still waiting for the arrival of C-rad. I want him to be here right now even though he would be 5 weeks early.

Michael and I had to go to the hospital last Sunday night...I guess I was being overly worried because at my last doctor's appointment, (which I am soooo unhappy with) the doctor said that he could be breech. Sunday while I was at work I didn't feel him move at all (probably a total of 8 hours) and I panicked....Michael insisted we go to Labor and Delivery just to be safe and... sure enough... as soon as we get signed in at the desk and I'm in my hospital gown, Conrad starts kicking me with great force...over and over. But the staff insisted that we be monitored for a few hours hours and get my cervix checked by a cute lil' Doogie Howser resident who didn't look old enough to stay out past 10:00 let alone play with speculums and pregnant lady hoo-haa's.

Sooooo...this is how things are gonna be, I take it? I was hoping Conrad would put off being difficult for his teenage years! But...when I was 16-year-old-repeat-offender-punk coming home at 4 in the morning after a night of binge drinking Old Milwaukee's Best, my parents warned me...."You just wait.........You're going to pay for what you have put us through!!"

I suppose they were right.

Yesterday I had my baby shower! Man...we got hooked up.

Gifts:

-our travel system, (which is referred to as the Cadillac of baby strollers/car seats..hahah)
-our baby swing
-the boppy pillow
-a kickass monitoring system that will tell us if the baby stops moving/breathing for more than
20 seconds while in his crib.
-a baby cradle/ boucy seat
- some cute baby clothes
- my mom made him a lamp to go with his jungle bedroom
- Baby Einstein! which I heard was like kiddie cocaine. haha
- my mom also made him the coolest shadow box that had some very cool Conrad family memorabilia (Since Conrad was my mothers maiden name and my Grandma and Grandpa were my favorite people in the whole world)
- my aunt is making C-rad a quilt very similar to what she made for me before I was born. She
is having all of our family and friends design a square of the quilt. So cool!
- the baby rainforest bathtub! courtesy of Kristin and Marisa (THANKS, GALS!)
- an IU hoodie from Aunt Molly and Uncle Matt
- a kickass CD from Uncle Ross...Lullabye renditions of songs from "The Cure"...this is wonderful.
- Red D. is providing us with a Snugli. Michael will love this when he is at home playing June Cleaver and fulfilling his domestic duties while I bring home the bacon. I will love this when playing Harvest Moon: Tree of Tranquility on the Wii...Farming ain't easy, bitchez. (THANKS, RD!)

All we need now is our Pack-N-Play and my boob pump and we are set!

I have the best family and friends! <3

I don't even have the energy to explain our moving situation. Let's just say it could very well be that Michael will be moving our stuff into our new rental house while I am pushing this kid out...literally. But I will include pictures of the new crib. LiveJournal is not letting me post these under a cut, so for that; I apologize:

iPhone pictures are not the greatest. I should've used my other camera.

That is all for now! I have to watch O-Ren and the Crazy 88's fight scene!!!!!!!!!
