Two pieces of good news!  First, stitches are out, and I'm not due back for followup at the dermatologist's office for at least four months.  Second, got a call from the insurance adjuster, and he approved of the quote and left a check (made out to me and the repair place) at the repair place for all but our deductible.

Survived the trip to western Oklahoma over the fourth.  The Quartz Mountain State Park was nice.  Turns out the small world department showed up again - the ranger at the nature center is from Michigan (where both T'B and I were originally from).  It was hot (to be expected) but there was a breeze and that helped.  Went to friends for supper and ( Read more... )

Got the kitchen cupboard arrangement sent to the architect and now it's his turn.  Got a note that he's working on a building set, and then the builder can give us a more firm quote.  Well, after we make up our minds about some of the choices in materials he'll offer.  We'll have to see how much of what we want we can afford to have *smile*.  At ( Read more... )
