Not this shit again
Public Shaming has found a bunch of people who were not happy that a few high school marching bands and dancers from Mexico took part in the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade.

More at the link. The irony's pretty thick, as are the historical, and geographical, illiteracy. Ignorant can be fixed, but dumb and bigoted make that a hard job.
Here's a follow-up from one of them:
IOW, she wants a whitewashed fairy tale and not the real history.
On a side note, it's great that Oliver Stone has put together a series teaching real, not similarly whitewashed, U.S. history from just before WWII onward. I hope he or someone else tackles our older history eventually - particularly Columbus.
