I have many military and ex-military people on my f-list. Rather than list some of you and risk leaving others of you off, please feel free to identify yourself by service, rank, and anything else you feel comfortable listing (the post is unlocked) in the comments.
Three exceptions: The combat veterans. antiotter, thwak, and - especially - reptilian_muse, whom we almost lost this spring.
(If anyone else here has seen combat, please tell me, and I will add your name to my OP.)
Here's to fewer wars that benefit nobody but a few rich sociopaths, better medical care and provisions for those who sign up to take the ultimate risk, and a military that honors all its warriors equally.
