I was reading a Tumblr of a "Social Justice Warrior" and one thing that struck me was that despite all her talking about oppression, I couldn't see any examples of actual oppression. White people writing novels about white people is not oppression. It's just not. While it's nice (especially for young girls) to read books about girls like themselves, good literature transcends the boundaries of gender, race, etc.
