The Hunger Games
I just read three pages of the Hunger Games and it's just as bad as Twilight, possibly even worse. Because not only is it badly written, it's badly written and boring.
From the very first page: "Mashed-in nose, half of one ear missing, eyes the color of rotting squash."
Um, that's not a complete sentence. And Collins does this over and over again. There are also comma splices, awkward phrases, and non sequiturs. I'm not going to read even one more word.
