What happened in history on 13 June....
1. My parents were ecstatic that I was born.
2. Honeybunny was ecstatic that I was born - even though he didn't know it at the time.
3. Honeybunny's kids were not so happy that I was born. But that is another story. :)
Ok, the OTHER real things in history....
Three neat (or interesting or weird) facts...
1. 1920 - The United States Postal Service rules that children may not be sent via parcel post.
2. 1966 - The United States Supreme Court rules in Miranda v. Arizona that the police must inform suspects of their rights before questioning them.
3. 2004 - A 4 kg meteorite hits the house of Phil and Brenda Archer in Ellerslie, New Zealand, destroying the roof and a couch.

1865 - William Butler Yeats, Irish writer, Nobel Prize laureate (d. 1939)
1892 - Basil Rathbone, English actor (d. 1967)
One Death....(this was rather boring)
1918 - Tsar Mikhail Alexandrovitch Romanov (b. 1878)
