(no subject)
Another week, another journal update. So, this weekend is going to freakin' rock! I can't wait, and I only have 2 more classes until it starts. Of course, sacrificing this weekend for the sake of fun means that I'm extremely pressed for time to get everything else done, let alone study for finals. I can't wait until school's over...or at least, until finals are over, which means I still have 2 days to chill here and hang out with people before coming home and getting to see everyone. This year has just flown by, it's crazy. I've been doing some reflecting on this past year, and it's just insane to think about where I was a year ago. Once I stopped and just remembered what my life was like last year at this time; my aspirations, expectations, goals, wants, everything has just changed so much. The weirdest thing to think about is just how I didn't know any of the people from here, who've since become such great friends. I can't even imagine life without them now, even though I lived it for 18 years. No more random made up sports in the hallway while the RA is away for the weekend, no more randomly making a massive 5-person fort in the closed lounge, no more frisbee on the quad, no more simply walking down the hall or going next door when you're bored (Check out this awesome article that I got from Billy). This year is over faster than I want it to be, yet I can't wait to be home, and in many ways wish it was summer right now. But what I'm looking forward to is not the summer of a year ago. I'm looking forward to a summer where I wasn't involved in every aspect of everyone's life. I'm glad that everyone was able to get out (relatively) on their own, and experience things for themselves. This summer's going to be awesome. I can feel it. I can't wait to see all of you, only 2 more weeks!
