Well, I got to watch some of the filing in on TV, but had to listen to the actual swearing in on the radio on the way to work. So early in the day! It was a wonderful moment, which I'm sure many of you would agree. I thought his speech was serious to fit the times but also offered hope, provided we're willing to work for it. It was a great tone

I thought his speech was pretty balanced between hope and reality. I agree that it was a great tone. Everyone is so pleasant today, amongst the talking heads. I am interested to see how long the cooperative air lasts.

You know, it has been so long since I was remotely excited about these things, I can't remember. (There was no honeymoon for me and GWB.)

MSNBC is so confused as to what is going on with the parade and the walking. It is kind of hilarious to me.

HA! Why are they confused? I'm not at a TV right now. All I know is that the whole parade thing was probably going to take longer than it'd take for Bush to fly back to Texas.
