Not a bad movie, a bit cliché, although the main players all did well in their roles. The eponymous creature was well realised until the final step, which was the only time I got a fake vibe from it.
It was less horrific that it could have been. It had less pathos than it might have. I felt it was going for more of the latter than the former. I think they should have emphasised the creature's intelligence more, which could have brought more empathy and terror.

Oddly enough it's the second movie in a row staring Adrien Brody.
