Oops...I knew I was forgetting something!
It was our turn to host brunch last week. I made jerk chicken strata with mango salsa, tropical fruit salad with a sweet lime drizzle, fried plantains, coconut rum banana bread (Holly's recipe, with coconut added), and pineapple mango spritzers. It was yum! Denise posted some pictures in
her blog (towards the bottom).
Oh yeah, and the night before that was our staff "Christmas" party. Event industry peeps either have their holiday parties way early (like, October), or really late. Our company opts for really late, which is nice. This year, it was held at Aqua R!va - a nice change from the warehouse, where the party is normally held. The food was okay, the company was okay, the night was...interesting. Someone's husband got drunk and offended pretty much everyone. Yeah, nice.
