I've had journal experiences where reading their innermost thoughts and secrets were quite frightening, and made me worry about them. But then there are other occasions where learning about these things have strengthened our personal relationship. However, in both instances, these times were with people I know in real life, so I guess I would feel uncomfortable reading and/or sharing certain details of my private life with people I didn't personally know. Of course, I can understand the desire to share personal details with the world that dosen't know you and can't judge you. Conundrum.
I guess I would feel uncomfortable reading and/or sharing certain details of my private life with people I didn't personally know interestingly, some people think quite the opposite: they would prefer to share it with some strangers and not with people they know (and that know them! ).
well, since i don't actually know any of the people on my friends list [the reason why i like lj], i really have no problem writing twisted emotions into it. i don't feel the need to impress anyone, so i write what i feel. which is probably more interesting than "i went to work today and i came home and talked on the phone and knit till 3 am and went to bed". there's a lot more to life than the things i do. are my accounts exaggerated? perhaps. but they're all based on true stories. i should be a movie one day.
