Is it too late to look into a degree in Piracy?

I AM SO EXCITED FOR ANOTHER POTC MOVIE!!!! :D

Seriously, it's been too long. It's coming out right before the second part of "Deathly Hallows," so hopefully it will help my HP fueled insanity at the time. It's going to be sad, living in a world with no new Harry Potter in it anymore. I was sad enough when the books ended! There was nothing like trolling the bookstore at midnight and high fiving a Dumbledore while you waited for the next installment to be released. There was even a great Snape debate once. *sigh*

Providence was a lot of fun! I only missed the garage entrance once, and the GPS only failed epically on the way home. We ended up on the WRONG highway--damn confusing exit ramps!--but I got us back on track, and it took the same amount of time to get home, so not bad!

I'm also feeling fairly frustrated this morning. I like waking up to reviews, but I am getting SO sick of complaints! I got another "too like Persuasion" today. I'd still like to know which other plot I should be following???? Please, enlighten me. Perhaps we've been reading different books? I was also accused of just "changing names." Seriously? I'm pretty sure the characters are different than the master story, and I know I've added scenes, interactions, and even character bits that definitely are NOT in the book. Last time I checked, Anne and Wentworth don't get grabby on the Cobb, she'd NEVER sneak away with her intended, and when she gets to Bath she's not going in like a champ: she's going in an even more depressed and broken woman. I've got Penny trying to pick herself up and be a fighter again. I'm pretty sure that's a change, yeah?

Is it just not obvious enough? I'd be interested to know if this comes across, just to see if maybe I'm being too subtle? I've rather felt at times that I'm hitting things over the head with a hammer, they're so obvious, but it could just be because I know what I'm looking for. Should I be more heavy handed? I usually prefer a light touch, but if it's a tad too light I'll take the hammer to it. I'd just like to know!

(Sidenote: I have yet to have any actual helpful suggestions as to how these people would change it up, or what I can do. It's just a bunch of whinging, which annoys the crap out of me. I don't go to your house and say the rug is ugly and then not offer you up some samples for a new one, do I? :P)
