FIC POST! :)
This is how Penny and Raj spend some of their summer vacation. Er..well, summer anyway. :) Penny and Raj as BFFs is a favorite topic of mine, and I seem to be on a Penny likes to dance kick lately, so here this is!
"Caught in a 'Bad Romance'"
Penny clicked off the television and then turned to Raj, waiting for his reaction. It was Tuesday night, their weekly Glee!Fest Night, and they had just watched the Gaga episode.
"Well? What did you think?" she prompted after he hadn't said anything for a long moment.
Raj calmly stood, took a deep breath, and then starting flailing his arms excitedly.
"That was the most awesome thing I have seen since...since...EVER!!!!!" he said, dancing around Penny's couch.
Penny laughed delightedly.
"I know, right? I think I liked that even better than the Madonna episode!!!"
Raj paused in his happy dance for a moment and looked at Penny seriously.
"You know what we should do?"
"What?" she asked, getting up and going to the fridge for a water.
Raj followed her, but declined anything to drink.
"We should totally learn the 'Bad Romance' dance!"
"Raj, I think you just suggested our next summer project!"
They high fived.
"Don't tell Howard, ok?"
"No sweat, sweetie."
3 WEEKS LATER
There was the sound of a thumping base coming from across the hall. Sheldon was trying in vain to concentrate on his work.
He finally threw his marker down in frustration and marched over to knock on Penny's door.
He knocked six times.
Nothing.
The music only got louder, if anything.
Penny never usually locked her door, so Sheldon tried it, intent to get to the bottom of the annoying noise.
True to form, the door was unsecured and he opened it without a problem.
What he saw inside...well, he was not sure how to process it.
Penny and Koothrapali were dancing something along the lines of "Thriller," but not quite that. There was an awful techno song on, and Raj was singing the words in a very bad falsetto.
"I'm a free bitch baby!" he yelled, causing Penny to laugh hysterically.
Sheldon was actually speechless.
He shut the door quietly and went back to his apartment. He had no idea what they were doing, but decided to let them enjoy themselves.
He was sure he had noise canceling head phones somewhere...
