The Quest for the Perfect Shoelace

I have this pair of high tops that I love very dearly. They are gray, with this very VERY light plaid pattern (it's like, gray with these very thin stripes that form the "plaid" sort of pattern) and they have black velvet roses on them. I have gotten a lot of miles out of them, and they are my almost constant companions. I even have an identical back up pair just in case they ever die on me. With the work out they get, they have been surprisingly long lived!

Recently, the shoe lace on the right one snapped. The shoes are still good. They just need new laces!

I wanted Shakespeare laces. However, I have searched high and low and CAN'T find any. I have found some Jack Skellington ones, as well as shoelaces representing various musical groups, such as The Who, The Ramones, The Rolling Stones, Guns N' Roses, and AC/DC. I like all of them, but am not entirely sure that I am committed enough to wear them on my shoes. I'd also be into laces with anything to do with Austen or Dickens, but have been unable to find them. If anyone knows where I can, or even just knows of some funky amazing shoelaces that no girl can go without, I am very much open to suggestions! I'd totally appreciate any ideas anyone has or any knowledge on a good shoelace site. Amazon has proved less than exemplary, much to my chagrin.

Doctor Who shoelaces???? Couldn't find any, but I'm just putting that possibility out there!

I've made this my quest. For now. :)
