And I said, "What about Breakfast at Tiffany's?"

My world record continues to expand! In the mere space of a FIVE hour shift today, which we all would agree is not very long, THREE people cussed me out. THREE. Two on the phone and one in person. I believe my favorite was the woman who told me to "get a life." Yeah, because I LOVE going in almost every day of the damn week to deal with assholes like her for very little pay. Yes, that's what keeps me going. Um, HELLO. The only reason I'm there is so that I can get that life she so sarcastically spoke of. Sadly, I'll have to deal with people like her, whose heads are so far up their asses their seeing brain stem. I need to get published NOW plz, kthx.

After work was much better, as it invariably is. We ate lunch outside and then went to Mansfield Crossing. We didn't get any clothes (the fashions this spring are just so....MEH), but we did stop in at Borders, of course! I got Sandman Volume 7 (YES), Charles Dickens' Little Dorrit, and Tolkien's The Two Towers. I'm pretty pumped about all of those, actually. After that, we went to Bass Pro Shops because Dad just wanted to. I at least know now how to get Sam and myself HOME from Gillette. Getting there...well, my dad will show me. I'm good once I get it. We'll be fine. They have an Olive Garden there now, so we can have some food before we see HBP and then go to the concert. That's gonna make the "Best Days Ever" list for sure!

I hope to finish or at least get very close to finishing the Poe Shadow tonight. I hope they make some breakthrough soon. It's been a long plot, with none too many results. I'm hoping the end is going to be ridonculous, so I can feel that I have invested my time and interest wisely. The writing though, is always and ever brilliant. This guy KNOWS the nineteenth century, he really does. And by now, I think I'm qualified enough to say that!

I don't have too many concrete plans for the coming week. I'm working Monday, Thursday, and Saturday. So, we know which days will suck. Tuesday Kayla and I are going for ice cream. I'll have to see if she wants to make a THS run before we go. We've been talking about doing that, and will certainly have to before the month is out. Wednesday I'm either going out with Brittany or she is hanging at my house so we can discuss our trip. She asked me if we should go to Disney for spring break, and I took a few days to think about it, but after a particularly MISERABLE day at work, I decided we should go. We're only young once, for God's sake, and now's the time more than ever to have fun and enjoy ourselves. I'm not going to believe it's actually happening until I GET THERE though, so that I don't set myself up. If there's anything I've learned over the course of the last few years, it's that if you expect nothing, you can only be delightfully and happily surprised, and that disappointment is thankfully a little harder to come by.

hopes, disney, sam, fun, world record, douchebags, work, shopping, britt, fuck my life, books, concert extravaganza, family
