Writer's Block: The Kids' Section

My favorite movie when I was little was "Beauty and the Beast," and it most definitely still is. I don't care which other movies come my way, or how many other movies I love, that one will ALWAYS be the best. HANDS DOWN. I mean, it has a bookish outcast as the heroine. She wants OUT of her provincial life, she's surrounded by guys who just don't get her and never will, and is kinda on her way to Spinsterville. THEN, she meets this totally snarky dude, and, sure, he's a beast and all, but he's really deep and he really loves her. Plus, he treats her like a human being, AND he's a prince, AND he has a castle, AND HE HAS A HUGE LIBRARY. And I'm not even kidding, that library would make me marry Quasimodo if I had to, cuz it is THAT awesome! So, you tell me. How could a girl like me NOT love a movie where the bookish outcast gets the snarky, sensitive, loving man of her dreams PLUS all of that adventure? The answer is, I couldn't NOT love it. It always makes me feel could, no matter what.

books, writer's block, beauty and the beast, snark, movies
