Spasms of joy! Adrift rocked my boat!
Ok, so it's been a few days since I did anything to my journal, and I decided it would be good for me to take some time and fix that.
Actually, I was just bored, and needed something to occupy my brain, since I left Wicked at home, and I've already read my Torchwood Magazine twice through... and stared at the pretties for much longer than I would care to admit to.
Right, so I was talking to my aunt the other night.... I think it was Saturday... in fact, I know it was Saturday, because we were talking, and then she got off the phone so she could go watch Torchwood. Anyway, she and I were discussing a whole host of topics, but one in particular always makes me laugh. You see, ever since I was young, I have been able to tell when a woman was pregnant. Now, this isn't really all that amazing when it comes to my aunt, because she has five children. Odds are pretty good that the majority of her married life, she's been pregnant. However, those odds go through the roof when she goes on a vacation to Walt Disney World.
They went to WDW in January, and then on a week-long Disney Cruise.... and guess what? *does I told you so dance* I informed my dear auntie that if she does not produce twins this time 'round, then I will be incredibly disappointed in her! :) "As long as they're human, I think we should be fine," I told her.... and she was very confused, because clearly she hasn't seen "Something Borrowed" just yet. She's been watching them on BBC America, so she won't see that one until next Saturday, much to her dismay as well as mine. I find it interesting to hear her prospective on the show. She has told me on several occasions that she loves Doctor Who and Torchwood... but she would really appreciate it if Jack would stop kissing so many boys. I have hence responded with "But that's WHY I watch Torchwood!"
Which brings me to my next topic... which is all about episode 11 "Adrift", so if you haven't seen it, then I'd suggest you scroll down....a lot! Avoid the cut!
Right, so there I was, just enjoying my weekly dose of fangirling, and all of a sudden.... I start to suffocate! Now, this is not normally a good thing, but in this case I would so do it all over again! I mean, that's what I get for trying to breathe when Jack and Ianto are on screen together.... and I mean together! We're talking, shirts off, pants undone, shagging it up against the alien flora in the Hub!!! And I just went ......guh...*spasm*.....uuuhhhh......zOMG! *gasp* I seriously started hyperventilating.... and it was incredible. Of course, Gwen has quite possibly the worst timing EVER, but she bounced back quite quickly.... and then there's the lovely little conversation that followed... Jack: "We could have used you about an hour ago for naked hide and seek." Ianto: "He cheats. He always cheats." He ALWAYS cheats, Ianto?! Does that mean you've played this game with him before?!? I hear a thousand little plot bunnies being born as we speak... in fact, if I didn't have to go to work in the morning, you better damn well believe I'd be all over my journal right now, furiously writing about Jack and Ianto and their little games of naked hide and seek! And then, after a "grrr-full" conversation with Gwen, Jack calls Ianto back into the HOT house because there's "work to do"....... *rolls eyes* Suuure there is Jack...what you mean to say is "There's me to do".... let's all be honest, since that's what's going to happen anyway. I mean, if you watch closely, as soon as Jack heads back inside the HOT-house, he starts taking his shirt of again! How much of a dead giveaway is that? Then when Gwen decides she's going to call Ianto (And she's bloody lucky that he wasn't 'otherwise occupied' at that moment and could actually get to his pants to answer his mobile!) and Jack starts calling for Ianto..... man oh man...that sound.... the beautiful dulcet tones of Jack Harkness calling out for Ianto Jones will be permanently burned into my brain! I mean... that's just...*guh* all over it! I can't even think, let alone type... plus I've got to work in the morning, so I should get going anyway....
Anywho, I've got an early morning.... and I'm all riled up from my fangirling.... I think I need new batteries though, so I'm hoping that I have some somewhere easy to get to! ^_-
