The House.  I think the sellers need a new real esate person.  We offered over property value and with maybe them doing 15K worth of work and guess what the answer was, NO and no other counter.  This makes me so sad I am actually heartbroken,   this is seriously my dream house in a good neighborhood. I won't find this type of house again, a drive ( Read more... )

They're not ready to sell probably too emotionally invested in it being their family home is my assumption. What a freaking pisser. Hang in there - they may change tier minds.

Thanks Brooke there is glimmer of hope. That is my feeling if this had been n my parents home I would never sell!

I agree...I bet its an emotional attachment. Perhaps your agent should communicate your desire to make this a forever family home as opposed to demolishing and building. I know when we sold our last house, and had multiple offers, it was the buyers' stories that helped us decide. Best of luck! Hate this process!!
