Home searching is exhausting.

So today we spent all day looking at houses...geez exhausting.  It's pretty much what I expected our desired areas are filled with move in ready homes which are 1mill or more. The ones we can afford all need some pretty major albeit cosmetic work done.  The eastside is filled with affordable homes,  a lot of newly constructed in the last 4-5 years.  I am however a city girl, always have been, so after the drive, over the bridge today, I know one thing (sorry Eastside gals :-) I am a city girl and I want to stay in Seattle.  I fell in love with one house today well we all fell in love it's a tudor and I can see it as our home but here is the catch it needs: new kitchen, 3 new bathrooms and a lot of cosmetic.  It felt like home so we are watching it, it  is over priced for the work it needs, the kitchen is not liveable nor or the two main bathrooms.  I think if they drop the price we will try for it, but I am pretty sure a flipper will buy it with about 100K of work they will make $$$.  Well there was another house i liked in that same great neighborhood our house purchase feel through but it's pending but it has pended 2 times with the sale falling through.BEFORE

Truth be told I am still in the same quandary.  Remodel our house, or move up to a bigger one and most likely remodel...sigh..... we have time so I will be watching and see what happens, I want to cash in on the low interest rates so not sure how fast we have to make a decision.

Thank you for the reponses yesterday it's been forever and I miss this community.
