Buying a house vs remodeling
Well long lost me,lol. I have been without a doubt MIA. Live has been busy my mother diverted a major medical issue which really stunned all of us and we all lost august while she was hospitalized the good is for me a new job title(big raise) , new puppy, a good marriage and now we are talking buying a new house or remodeling. I get excited to buy a new house but given the market here is not a lot on the market in the area I want to live which is Seattle proper NE quadrant. I am not opposed to moving else where but not what I prefer. I like our house and we can blow out the back side and make a master suite w/bathroom, walk in closet, new kitchen, and a family room. I am worried we might overbuild our block if we remodel, we live in an area that is all post war '47-'55 homes built for returning soildiers and their families. Our home is in a great neighborhood,we live 4 blocks from Aidan's school and clos to everhwere we want to be. Our neighbors (all but one) are great. My family lives within a 4 mile circle of our house. My question to those that have remodeled, Brooke(thanks for you input on facebook) is it bad would we have to move out? We are looking at some house this weekend and even venturing across the bridge so I will be back with my thought s but again for thsoe that have remodeled give me the dirt about it!
