1. I'll second the motion for making the syxp comment fic scavenger hunt the official Sam/Jack game! It has a very good reward system. :-)

2. Dawww. I once spent a good five minutes pausing and rewinding a certain episode of SGU in which someone-who-shall-remain-nameless swore there was a glint of a wedding band. (I think there might have been a wedding band, but it probably didn't actually mean much in canon. Also, this was when I was trying to watch on my tiny computer screen.)

Lol! No, I swear I am not trying to drive anyone nuts. That is the episode where Daniel goes to the very first alternate reality - the scene I'm talking about is the one where Alternate Jack is about to go try to talk to Alternate Teal'c and he and Alternate Sam hug and Daniel's jaw drops and Catherine says, "I take it they're not engaged in your reality." It's in there while they are hugging, but it's nearly inaudible. Or else it is in my imagination!!! Hahahah.

NOt your imagination, I know I've heard it, too, though you do have to listen closely. And they were engaged in that reality and he knows he's going off to his death, so I should hope he'd be good enough to tell her he loves her!

Hee. Yes, but they could easily have left the dialogue implied since the focus of the scene shifts really quickly to Daniel and Catherine. I've always thought it was a nice detail. :)
