Julie had a very good day today. She did well in all of her therapy sessions, and just seemed really happy and content. Today for the first time she seemed to enjoy her PT session, trying really hard at everything, and grinning when she did walking exercises. She was walking using a walker with support, and had a huge smile as she did it. Usually she is so scared or uncomfortable that she looks very unhappy - not so today. Just as her mom and I got ready to leave to day there was a knock at the door, and it was Nicky/ Her face lit up in the biggest smile ever!
Another exciting thing about today is that she graduated from level III foods to level V, which basically means all foods. She does need to be closely supervised, and I would not rush out and give her a peanut or something like that, but she handled crackers and M & M's with great delight today. Maybe it was the chocolate that made her in such a good mood!!!
