I'm doing this Wellness Coaching that my work is offering (for free!) and so far it is going well. I set long-term goals and 3 three-month goals. My WC is helping me to set weekly goals that will get me closer to my bigger goals.
The small steps/goals have always been where I struggle, so I am hoping this helps. This week I am making a list of all the things I was able to do with my days off. I have been picking up a lot of hours again and I need to remember why that is not always a good idea for me. My list at first was just the chores and such I accomplished, but that seems wrong. So I am including things like watching movies and napping all day with Dan & Jenny, sleeping until noon and going to bed early.
I ran into my therapist in the halls on my way to my first WC meeting. He is proud of me for voluntarily taking what is usually a difficult and emotional journey. :)
Slowly but surely I am getting my shit together!
