a day into somewhere

well things haven't been too smooth sailing yesterday however, it was actually quite an experience being nearly alone for 24 hours. actually, my family weren't too in the know about that fact, so we might want to keep it quiet.
the plane ride was just tiring. it wasn't as scary as I'd thought it would be however, sitting in economy is something I wouldn't want to experience too many a time. but mm mmm, plane food is really yummy! I really really like the hot meals and drinks, yay!
(stoops, I haven't uploaded yet-while typing this post so this is still anexclusive before I make it public in fb) so specially for you ah!
this was "supper", the aluminium covers chicken chop with pasta woooo
ok, anyway, after a gruelling 13 hour ride, I finally arrived in the colonial masters' land! WOW! They REALLY ARE SUPERIOR! not..
1) the signage is baddd
2) the londoners are totally unhelpful
3)the roads have not many rules
4) it is bloody windy and cold.. ok scratch that, the weather is actually just... nice...
So i walked to the town area from the hotel about 20 min away, alone. and well, should I say I really like being alone and having so much me-time. am DAMN proud that I didn't panic despite lugging 22.7kg and 8kg luggage, a handbag and a laptop bag all around beforehand. ((: had chinese for dinner haha, can I say it was nice, but one tofu pot was like 8 pounds. You do the math.

isn't autumn the most awesomest season??
Ok, today, we went around looking for houses. The first was as weijun calls it the dark water house. the asian-african guy who showed us around was scary and scruffy looking. the house was dingy, scary and really disgusting actually. some parts of the ceiling had worn out paint, the kitchen smelt indian (ok, racist sorry).
so comparatively, the second house actually looked better, despite the dirty carpets and furniture falling apart. HEH. However, if the landlord actually does the changes as he promises, we would take it? But we're gonna see tme's house first. YAY. and hopefully it will be better.. I will wait for weijun to upload her photos so I can show you how chui the first house an second was? HAHA
Chinese for dinner again! Oh can I say, fish and chips well, we had the "world famous harry something" one, and can I say, it's too oily for my liking? and the fries tasted pretty funny hahaha. Nehhh.. I prefer my chinese.
OH! I had 1 pound grapes, 50 pence scones, (freaking hell) 3 pound hotdogs, 1.50 pound mineral water, and nice nice nice english breakfast! YAYNESS!
