I've been venting
I've been venting on my Sword of Freedom blog off and on today. Palin hasn't been getting off easy. She's Anne Coulter but without all the honesty and intellectual rigor. She's Rush Limbaugh but without his sense of shame. The Repubs are gobbling her down like she's honey and cream.
I'm listening to McCain's speech now. He's not horrible. It's one of his usual tepid speeches delivered a little better than usual. In another couple of years he may actually master the teleprompter. He remembers Pearl Harbor. He probably shouldn't have mentioned that They've worked on the creepy grin. A closed-lip smile is a better look. I'm going to be curious to see what kind of bounce he gets from this in the polls.
Oh, Christ, the torture/POW story AGAIN.
I'm taking tomorrow off to meet with the AC guy at church, meet with Samantha for lunch (Grandparent's day at school) and then in the afternoon get my hair done (touching up my naturally red hair).
Chris and I have STILL not played with our basketballs. Maybe this weekend!
