Gabriel skips into the room like a boss Because only Gabriel can SKIP into a room like a boss.
I love your theories. No matter how seemingly crazy they may be, I have to hold on to those theories. Because, even if I am a Dean girl at heart, Dean is a Cas girl. I can't let my baby lose his baby.
I am going to try and think of some more theories for you :)
What if the moral of this season is that you never know what you've got until it’s gone? We've seen them take Cas, Bobby, and numerous other things for granted. What if stripping that away was so they could see what they've really got and showing them that family goes beyond blood? Dean goes from telling Cas that he's like family to completely ostracizing him. Sam made an excellent point when he said no matter how off the rails he got Dean never gave up on him - So how is it that Cas can be like family, but dropped after any decision that Dean views as a mistake?
This could show them what they really had, SO THEY CAN APPRECIATE IT WHEN THEY GET IT BACK!
I’m not really sure why I tend to respond to you with an outline, but I’m going to do it again:
1. If the big bad boss is still using Cas as a vessel, sending them the trenchcoat would have been a good move tactically. A. It would falsely lead everyone to think Cas is dead B. They would spend their time looking through all of the other henchmen trying to find the leader C. It was a blow to their morale.
2. And this is so going to bite me in the ass later in the season - Cas was already brought back, but for some reason has been taken out of the game for now - I have tried so hard not to let myself think this, because this will make it hurt so much later.A. Look at 05x01 Cas was brought back, but it either didn’t happen instantaneously or he was sent somewhere

Dean and the trenchcoat...When his fingers clenched...I can't...I will cry, AGAIN! That is the scene that caused most of my theories though.

I've read through your latests posts and theories, but do share any new theories (or if you want to discuss current ones). I'm always game :)
