OKay, so i finsihed my first batch of BIG holiday baking. I mailed about 8 small 1-lb boxes of my toffee (organic, fair-trade and wholesome) and 5 dozen of my TURBO TAN GINGERGENTRY (also organic, fair trade and wholesome) to family in Scotland. Cost me a total $130 to send everything! GAH! but, it was worth it. I really hope they all enjoy it.

My goal is by this friday to send out the rest of the baking gifts to US friends.

so that family and friends, over the seas, would understand what they were getting and whatnot, I enclosed this:
For TOFFEE:
This toffee was made with love & consciousness by me, using fair trade, organic wholesome ingredients. It not only tastes good, but was good to the earth and its people. Happy Holidays!

FOr theGINGERGENTRY:

2006 TURBO TAN G-GENTRY

Seems that Mr. &Mrs. GG were caught spending a holiday in St. Croix. When asked what they were doing, Mrs. GG responded, “We felt this was a FABULOUS way to bake for 8 -10 minutes.”  The two were apprehended by local police, who then notified the baker and were sent back, after being “tasted” by US customs officials, to make sure it was not a terrorist plot.  Sadly, due to the time constraint, the baker had to ship out the rather tanned duo in their sun-bathing attire.

** Note: These Gingergentry were made with love & consciousness by me, using fair trade, organic wholesome ingredients. This is why they are “darker” in colour. Also, bit harder. Watch those teeth! But, they not only taste good (hopefully), but were also good to the earth and its people.

Coming 2007: Mr. & Mrs. GG travel for UNICEF.

HERE ARE SOME PICS (mouse over for descriptions):

Well, there you have them. HOpefully I can get another 5dozen baked, decorated and mailed for friday. Made the dough tonight. Started the rest of my toffee too. only rwo more batches of that to do. Then will divide the 3 toffee batches into 7packs.
