this week
On Wednesday I spent about 3 hours depositing and filing checks for fundraising from the current YLA group and wow, I am impressed by how much they have brought in thus far! And I'm really impressed with how dedicated YLA alums are and how enaged they are with helping out with absolutely everything. Makes me feel full of joy.
Then yesterday (it was volunteer Thursday, a new summer program I've started - sort of), Gordon and Hei-Yue came to help me out with my three trillion deadlines. They were a most excellent gift.
Last night I had a chance to re-connect with RC who was full of tales from General Convention with all of its highs and lows. I wouldn't have traded my week at Kanuga for anything. . .
It's the eve of 4th of July weekend. . .this place is closed from 2pm today until next Wednesday! Incredible, I know. I'll hopefully be starting the new YLA class this Sunday. . .
