just home
I just arrived back home. . .and I've never been more excited to be at home than I am right now.
I haven't had sufficient time to evaluate the last week or this past weekend so I'm going to take the rest of the night to chill out alone and . . .think. . .and then hopefully write a little about the week at Kanuga tomorrow. . .it seems I've already jumped right back into my "real" life and that is comforting and scary at the same time.
The wedding this weekend was amazingly fun. . .and we barely even noticed that it rained on us most of the time during the reception last night! It was nice to be surrounded by friends after a week where I think I connected with some people, but I'm not entirely sure. I really enjoy my friends. . .and I know they are trying to be super helpful by assisting with wedding planning, but there was a moment on our journey home today where I was thinking, "wouldn't it be great to just show up at the wedding and have everything already planned?" Some part of me thinks that would be really cool - have people you love and who know you really well plan it all and then you can just show up and soak it all in! Yes, that's the dream right now.
off to laundry and maybe even sleep soon, too! I'm still catching up from last week. . .5 hours a night just doesn't cut
