An excerpt from a blog entry I made about 3 years ago on my previous blog
Dear Mr James Purefoy, I just watched Vanity Fair and I must say you are drop dead gorgeous and the most handsome man in the entire movie, oh heck it, in the whole of hollywood I have seen so far. You are amazingly sensual and supreme in every positive aspect I can imagine, to put it simply, you are the essence of the man of my dreams. Ah, if only I could meet someone who is so like you and marry him, my life would be utter bliss. You look really good as a dashing rake and dashing rakes like you are the reason why I always wish I were born in England and were a debutante about to be entranced by the likes of you at some ball or soiree.Upon my word, your every move speaks of masculine grace and perfection. Even though I usually pride myself on my logic and sense of fairness in judgements, I cannot help but be biased here and say I am very certain you are going to be my favorite actor, not based purely on your looks and acting but the delicious roles you take up, which speaks volumes of your character. I love period movies, movies based in Regency London, and movies based on my beloved classics and I can say with absolute firmness I am going to have a lovely time watching you in Beau Brummel as the leader of fashion in high society, Mayor of Casterbridge as Farfrae that wonderful scotsman who is a gentleman through and through-(not a great deviation from your true character I am sure), Mansfield Park as the useless elder son but nevertheless handsome too, and Rome as the charming Mark Antony whom many soldiers love and respect even though I used to despise him for hooking up with that bitch of a Cleopatra. Thank you so much for being who you are. Love, your admirer, Rhoda.
I am a sucker for reading my past blog entries. So entertaining.
