I'm beginning to think my paranoia is justified...
So I got a notice from Time Warner that mine and several other employees and ex-employee's personal information (SSN, address, DL # etc.) had been stolen or lost while the data was being transported from place to another. I thought of it as nothing more than my typical luck. Today I got a notice from CitiFinancial that my personal information (along with several other customers) had been lost by a third party courier transporting data tapes from one data center to another. Once is coincedence, twice is an attempt.
Time to batten down the hatches and break out the arms locker I fear.
