The Creation of Eve
I was just wondering if there was a feminist version of Michaelangelo's "Creation of Adam", you know, the one where a buff Adam touches fingers with a Gandalf-type God? So I searched Google Images and lo and behold, here it is:
Kind of cool. But it doesn't really do it for me. I think because a Father God is normally associated with the sky, whereas a Mother God is associated with Earth. So, the image appears a bit forced to me. Now this one is right on:
