Why do I go overboard every.single.year?
Seriously. My kids already feel this sense of entitlement. Last year, my excuse was that it was our first year after leaving California. It would help their adjustment. Pul-lease. This year, my excuse is that it's (possibly) the last year that Jack Jr will believe in Santa. So I'm trying to make it extra special.
I saw on t.v. this morning that Toys R Us was having this huge sale. Today only. So I stopped by there on the way to work. I'm looking for Guitar Hero for XBox. I think it would be a great gift for both Cheeks (who is not so Cheeky anymore) and Jack Jr. Jack told me that he heard it was supposed to be 50% off. I get there and they only have it for PS2. So do I leave? Nope. I ended up spending $158.64 on Wii games, XBox games, and DS games.
No wonder they feel entitled.
