Live Together or Die Alone

A few years ago I felt like I had reasons to update this thing. I had LJ friends who read my posts and had comments and all was good. Over the years, people have left LJ, I've stopped talking to some people and now I have few LJ friends. Everytime I'd get an idea or a thought to post, I'd wind up talking myself out of it. Over the past few months I thought about making a full jump to MySpace [ where I only have a "stalker" account] but damnit, LJ has its charms and I can't leave, no matter how few people read these rants.

When I first created this LJ, I saw this as a space to do my own "Ross Report" - a now defunct weekly column that Jim Ross used to write. I'd cover pop culture, worldy events and some personal notes for good measure. To some degree that's what this LJ was, although over the past 2 or 3 years its pretty much just been an online shrine to David Lynch, with little mention of anything else. That's not to say that I haven't had other ideas for this journal, its just that none of them stuck. Recently I've had a few ideas on what I could do to revive this LJ and although I doubt that I'll make a fulltime return to writing in here, I'm going to try and use this forumn more often.

People who remain in contact with me know that the tv show "Lost" is my new drug - I've went as far as to call it the new "Twin Peaks". It might even be better. [ That can't be said until the show is over, but I will say that its the only show to ever give TP a run for its money as my fav]. I've given thought to doing a weekly "Lost" column. If it weren't for the fact that next week is the season finale and the show won't be back until February, I'd do a weekly piece. Same with "Sopranos". That show only has 3 episodes left total. So the comprimise is that I'm going to review both shows on this very short term basis just to see how it goes. If I enjoy it, you might see me update this LJ a little more.

So since I've been gone................

I want everyone who reads this and remembers me to either tell me something you doubt I know OR ask me something that you think I can answer. Any "Lost" or "Sopranos" fans? Anyone mad about my claims of "Lost" being the new "Twin Peaks"? Is Veronica Mars coming back on???
