More Wii Woe
-December 6: Becoming desperate, I decide to go earlier than before. I get into a cab at 5 AM, arrive at Wal-Mart (which has, unlike other stores, told people there will be Wiis in today) about 10 minutes later. Costs me $21 (with tip). The line is short, which encourages me. I get out, the cabbie leaves. I discover that everybody who is already there arrived at 2:30. I am number 11 in line, and the people there tell me a Wal-Mart guy has come out and told them there's only 9 systems. I decide to wait a while anyway, since I have nothing better to do. At 7 the doors open, and it is confirmed that yes, there are only 9 systems. I get a ride back from another U of M student in line.
I think I'll pull a 2AM campout this weekend, since I'll have access to a car, which'll make it much easier.
