Everything's going pretty well. I turned 18, as you all know. Huzzah! My lotto ticket was worthless, though.
Been going to grad parties here and there. Who isn't?
Saw The Aquabats in concert the other day with George, Zander, and Jeff. I've never been to a concert like that before - with jumping and dancing and even moshing. It was quite an experience. Everything was so loud I could barely understand the music, but I'm pretty sure I enjoyed it, haha. The energy was great. I don't think I've ever been sweatier, though. And not all of it was my own sweat. (But a LOT was.)
So I got a DVD from Netflix, "The Work of Chris Cunningham". Seems he's a director/animator of sorts, he made lots of music videos with interesting visual effects, lots of very well-done CG stuff. Unfortunately, while it was visually interesting, it was not enjoyable to watch the same thing for three or four minutes as the song progressed. The ideas were much better than their execution. There was ONE thing on the DVD that I absolutely loved, though...well-written script, and fantastically-done computer effects (no, the girl does not REALLY look like that). Here it is.

How strange, that one of the most profound things I've heard in quite a while came from a PlayStation commercial...
