Hi Everyone,
Merry Christmas, I hope everyone has an absolutel fabolous day full of happiness, laughter and of course, alcohol, hehe.
I haven't written an entry in a few weeks, and a hell of a lot has happened.
But in short, Business really picked up and saved my butt a fair bit. I had been working non stop right up until Wednesday this week and it was just crazy, it was quiet unexpected to say the least, I expected things to slow down but it was quiet the opposite, which is good news.
So I managed to drag my way through it all! But I mean everything over the past few weeks has been going pretty good.
Last night was absolutely awesome, I loved it, I loved seeing everyone and catching up with all my friends, after working so much through out the year, it's just so great to finally go out and see everyone, who for the most part, are back in Ballina to have christmas with the family etc It's really a special time of year, and it was just great to go out last night and catch up with everyone and have a drink or two. It's what christmas is all about.
This morning has also been nice as well, I've messaged everyone wishing them Marry Christmasd etc, oh, and I've of course opened presents with the family. Got a couple of nice things but I think now at the age of 20, I've been a little bit over gifts, from a materialistic point of view, I've got pretty much everything I want, so most of the presents I get are just nice things.
I really enjoy this time of year, and I think this year, I appreciate it more than ever, I mean, I've came a long way this year, and to me it's a pre-new years celebration, it's a time to party a little, spend with friends and family and really enjoy the last few days of the year.
To everyone out there in the world, and to everyone who reads this, I sincerely hope you have an absolutely excellent christmas day, and try not to forget that whilst it's the meals and presents that make a christmas look pretty, it is the love and care of our family and friends that truely make Christmas what it is. I know that sounds corny and completely unoriginal, but it's true!
Merry Christmas Everyone.
P.S. I'll do a year in review entry before new years!
Best Regards,
Ben Smith
