moose + Jos = graduation
so on thursday night I left my house at about 11:40 with alon to head to moose's house. this guy evan was with him. so they chose to rely on my sense of direction instead of their written directions. I was so happy. nobody ever listens to my sense of direction. so we drive by memory all the way across the tappen zee. then I make a small mistake. we go on the saw mill parkway instead of takeing the highway to white plains/rye. no big deal we just make some illegal uturns in front of an E-Z pass and from there we had no problems. we stayed up really late that night. moose gave me back the little endless story book. I spent that night on a hardwood floor. no very good for me since I had run 3 miles that morning and was in need of an awesome nights sleep, but I managed. the following morning we went for breakfast at this deli place. it was rather nice although a lot different than the way moose described it. he described this old timey feel or something. I thought it felt like a cafeteria. anyway, we spent the rest of the morning watching the chappelle show. I was really glad to see it. that show makes me laugh sometimes. the really funny bits in my opinion are negrodamus and little john. lunch was alright and teh rest of the day was pretty much spent playing super smash brothers melee. that night moose and I saw X-men. I liked the movie. although mystique's final scene almost made me cry. so sad. but after seeing the juggernaut video I finally understand what everybody is talking about. the next morning alon and evan left to return to maryland and I stayed with moose. I beat ben really badly at mario party. I guess its just one of thsoe games that I am good at. lucky me. after that we watched FF7 advent children. pretty sweet movie, even if you don't know the game. Moose promises to make me play in college. after that we saw harvey birdman : attorney at law. remember all those hannah barbera cartoons? well when shaggy is busted for possession and Fred flinstone is accused of being a mob boss harvey birdman is the man you call. it is an awesome show. that night we all went to chill at jos's house. that party was exactly what I needed. once again, jos made us do name games which, though they take up soo much time they are a good way of relaxing a group. I crushed laura's game. also she may have tried going after me again. icks. i really need to set that girl straight. of course I could just be paranoid and egomaniacal, but I dont think so. any way I hung out with all these cool people. alice was there for crying out loud. so were anat and lapp. and since I guess I had a growth spurt or something I towered over so many people. very weird. there was only one problem with my weekend. it was yom tov. and I broke it repeatedly. that mkaes me sad. how willing I am to break a traition I have accepted as concrete my whole life. some answers from on-high would be nice but I won't hold my breath. the next morning I had graduation. or rather afternoon. It went really well. the ceremoiny felt like no time at all even though it took two hours. grandmother came. it was really nice to see her. bube of course stayed in New york. so now I have so much free time I don't know what to do with. here's to library books. also the sports awards dinner is tonight. wish me luck!
