A year late...
I am a year late in discovering the gem of an anime series named Honey and Clover... Well since I already watched the live action movie that summarized the first season. I am watching now the second season. I thank my friendly neighborhood media pirate for providing me the means to acquire the series.
That show really pulls some heartstrings especially if you are a hopeless romantic.
I repeat all of it is bittersweet.
The only thing I can say if all of it is based on some real life group of friends is that they are all unlucky. It is like fate really segregated them to some parallel dimension and subjected them under very "cruel" tests. The clover in the title would really help them out. HAHAHA...
I am unfamiliar with this kind of shoujo manga/anime yet I really like the experience. Does anyone know of something similar? Fruits basket might have been the same, in my opinion, but maybe the Filipino subbing is not that appropriate that I missed the point.
