Korea wants to produce a Nodame Cantabile clone?!?

I am just reeling in from Nadame Cantabile withdrawal after having watched 4 hours of the SP's a day ago and news like this come up.

Javabeans from dramabeans has the info on the upcoming Kdrama that sounds too much like a Nodame Cantabile clone. Here instead of pianos being the "weapon" of choice, they would rather have the violin showcased.  I guess holding a violin is much more romatic for them.

The Koreans liked  the manga, anime and dorama so much that  they are  inspired to do  a dorama of their own along the same vein. It is speculated to be released in July so that will be a long wait.  The good news for those who might want to catch this is that very capable S2 fansubbing team is considering to fansub this series.I am anticipating this because the director is the one that did Fashion 70's. Though cliche ridden, I really like how Fashion 70's went.

All I can say about the SP's is that everything was done awesome. It has all the elements of a great SP to a faithful dorama adaptation of a shoujo manga and it had the added bonus of allowing the viewers go to European countries. It brings me back when I was in Europe myself. I just wished that I had my own money back then so I could have done what Nodame did in the Parisan tourist spots-eat the street foods available on the site. heheehehe

nodame, k-drama
