If Austell has anything, it's a surplus of unemployed auto repair people. This leads to me always getting questions about my car, which smokse like mad. There's a coolant leak on the manifold that causes it to pour smoke. It's a clear, white smoke, not grey; so I know it's not oil, which lets me know it's coolant. I know this problem is there, but I don't really have the cash reserves to fix a leak on the manifold. I'd also have to get new...whatcha call it, clamps to hold down the engine? Whatever, there's four of em, and they hold down the engine, and mine have a tendency to corrode leading the engine to hop slightly when it starts which is the root cause of this shit.

So, in long, yes I know I have a problem, yes I know it has to be fixed if I want to keep driving that car, but no I do not want some random jackass on the side of the road fixing it. I'll fix it when I do have the money.

That, or put down a couple hundred and lease a new used car. I figure $500 down on a $3k car and a two year lease would about do her. But, I don't want to do that until I am certain this job will keep me.

Never enough, never enough.
