Still Looking
What a disappointment. The apt we went to look at yesterday initially looked so promising, but the whole building's undergoing renovations. The halls stink, they don't look pleasant and the apartment itself is kind of small. They redo the apartments when someone moves out so that's nice, and the balconies are a very nice size, but it's really not positive. It also didn't look good that there was an ambulance, a fire truck leaving and two police cars out front when we left. Nice area, though. It's getting a little disheartening though. On the plus side though, that area had a plethora of apartment buildings. Maybe it was to get us into that area and see. I have some more phone calls to make. I'm getting tired of this process. Yesterday it all caught up with me, I even nearly took one of my pills but I ended up spitting it out. I don't want to rely on those anymore.
Quite the rainfall today! Yesterday it rained a bit, but today it's really coming down. I guess the remnants of Igor finally swung in. It's lightened up now, but there's some dark clouds still around. I've been waiting for this kind of rain! Nice and cleansing.
It's weird being up at this time. I get up as mom leaves for work, and even stay up. I feel like it should be later than what it actually is, but I think I could get used to it. Though I still don't perk up until around 4pm or so XD I think I could do writing during the day, as soon as we get away from a busy street. Traffic drives me nuts.
