Texas Hold-Em on Hotel Room Floor
In lieu of actual content, some things I have been up to -
- catching a cold
- failing to get my hair cut. Twice
- helping out on weekends at Liz's workplace
- getting a cardboard cut as a result (it's like a paper cut... but with cardboard)
- buying an XBox 360
- killing zombies
- taking americans to task for their unoriginal insults and obsessions with ass
- failing to book upcoming holiday to New York
- listening to the latest albums from Peter Mulvey and Aimee Mann. The Aimee Mann one in particular has a superb, short song (much akin to "Just Like Anyone" from the "Bachelor No 2" album) called "Stranger to Starman" - cruciverbalist, possibly revisionist and sorta palindromic.
- becoming steadily more obsessed with US politics. The other day I was talking about my uncertainty about Obama winning and actually said "we're going to be stuck with McCain!". Because I'm American and everything.
- buying an iPhone 3G.
- obsessed with watching awry O'Reilly interviews on Youtube using said phone.
