Weekly Exercise Update:
Weight at beginning of regimen: 136 lbs
Current goal: 125 lbs
This week was pretty easy for my initiative-wise to start working out. Normally my problem is that I don't want to get off my lazy tuckus, but this week it was worth it for me. I think it is because one of my friends told me a story about a guy she knows who was failing all of his classes in high school and was overweight and had really low self-esteem. He was always quiet in class and didn't have very many friends because his self-esteem was so low.
And he dropped out of high school. And started working at a fast food joint and hated his life. But then one day he decided he didn't want to live life like that, and just started working out. He got really really fit and is now model and an actor. He's not famous or anything, but he is making a good living!
So... I want to put my mind to it. I want to put my mind to being happy and productive with life. I want to get what I want and not just sit around and wait for nothing to happen like I always have.
After my second day of the regimen, things got tough. I overexerted myself and had to rest for three days. I wanted to take muscle relaxers so bad because I could barely get up for two days, and then the third day I was in pain from walking a few miles to get pizza. (Obviously my diet isn't changing much.)
But today I worked out with Sean. It was nice, although he was done before me, and so I ended early because I didn't want him to have to wait for me to finish working out. Also, it was bloody humid in there and I got really red. That's why I don't like working out with other people.
So, after a week of working out, my new weight is... 135 lbs! Whoo!
For those of you who want to know what the regimen is, I forgot to put the link in the last post.
