I was going to make this journal entry originally as an update to what I have been up to these past few months; but before I could start writing I discovered that Robert Anton Wilson died today. This strikes a very sour note in my heart and is genuinely upsetting for me in a VERY big way. Robert Anton Wilson (or RAW for short) was a writer, philosopher, and Ontological Guerrilla that shaped my thoughts beginning at the age of twelve. It was at that age that I had gotten into Conspiracy theories and one of my friends at the time suggested his masterwork, The Illuminatus! Trilogy. Written in W.S. Burroughs' cut-up technique and involving every conspiracy theory ever created rolled up into one story was a lot for me and essentially felt like I was reading a long acid trip. It changed me though, made me more open-minded and made me realize that nobody is ever truly right on the big picture. Thanks to him I'm a richer and more interesting person I think. Thank you Bob, for breaking my twelve year old brain, I'll miss you horribly.

If anyone is interested in his works, I recommend either the Illuminatus! Trilogy, or Prometheus Rising, which explains his theories and ideas better than I ever could.
