Also, that party I went to last night ...
Sucked to say the least. I really hope most university students aren't like that. I found them to be extremely pretentious, and very wealthy. They also seemed to be positive they were extremely intelligent, but their life choices and general demeanor told me otherwise. I mean we all have our moments of pleasure and sometimes we get carried away, but when you are doing something the whole time, such as insulting the very date you took with you to the party, or constantly changing the subject to insult the very people who are hosting the party, you have some issues. When you choose to alienate yourself from the current social activity, that's fine, but when you are informed that the majority of the population of the party will be engaging in that particular social activity ahead of time, then it is YOUR fault that you are miserable, not theirs.
I won't be the first one to admit I get loud and obnoxious in a heated game of MUGEN or Super Soccer, but otherwise I try to remain very indifferent and nonjudgmental in social situations. Granted, I don't go to many, but I feel my approach is more appropriate.
And I'm pretty sure Jose's girlfriend is going to dump him. I can tell they he will never fill her needs when that time comes, or if he does, he will make the same mistake I did - which is actually trying to fulfill those needs the mature way.
