i hate double standards
a few weeks ago i missed class because i had the worst stomach cramps in existence, as well as terrible shits. so i emailed my teacher and said i couldn't make it, and i would turn in my stuff that day when i was able to walk and leave the bathroom. of course she didn't let me off the hook, and i got a late assignment. monday though, a girl missed class, and a large assignment because she had period cramps. she got excused. what the fuck. i know period cramps blow, but if so does shitting out stomach acid for three hours straight.
another double standard: lauren gets mad at me when i go downtown to hang out with my friends from there. hanging out with normal non-baby-college-students is the only thing i have to stay sane. however, when her friends come over, all of which either treat me like shit or want to get into her pants, and basically tell her this, she has no problem going off to hang out with them. or else she goes to parties with kelly and doesn't even come back until the next day, when she tells me about how much fun she had being drunk and talking to people.
in other words, i can't spend a few hours away without her getting mad at me, but she gets to spends all night drinking with a bunch of bro-rapist-assholes wearing von dutch hats and dickies flannel jackets.
