covid - 3rd vaccination received - booster
Received my "booster" 3rd vaccination.
At the local elementary school that my Youngest goes to, the covid-positive rate reached 5% (one out of every twenty), recently.
Now my guess/prediction for "when will it end?!" for my local area is, Summer2022.
EDIT 2022-01-27
Just like I did for the previous two vaccination shots: I took no medicines, allergy medicine, or "anything" for 24hrs before the shot. I also abstained from any medicines for 24hrs after receiving this 3rd vaccination, to try to prevent any interference with it.
My body seems to react consistently to this vaccine. About 1hr after receiving the injection, started to feel entire body muscle ache. Stiff neck. Headache. Discomfort increased over time, so that at 4hrs felt peak crummy. Strong crummy until bedtime.
The next morning, headache and stiff neck have subsided. All over body muscle ache remains, at about 1/2 the level of the peak yesterday. Just "taking it easy" today.
On the 2nd day after receiving the booster vaccination, unlike the previous two shots, I still feel noticeable crummy. I'd guess I feel about 1/4th as crummy as Peak Crummy from Day Of Booster Shot.
It was not until Day 3 that I felt "normal health" without any body ache.
Covid-19 hospitalization and death rates - statistics - article
EDIT 2022-01-30
I was morbidly curious to try to find trustable data on the death rates from COVID for unvaccinated vs vaccinated vs vaccinated+booster recipients.
Web search found this one, that seems like real data, from what also seems a reliable source:
Article URL:
https://www.nbc15.com/2022/01/21/phmdc-covid-19-hospitalization-death-rates-60x-higher-unvaccinated-vs-boosted/ Published: Jan. 21, 2022 "PHMDC: COVID-19 hospitalization, death rates ~60x higher for unvaccinated vs. boosted "
Article cites: "DANE CO., Wis. (WMTV) - For months, the Wisconsin Dept. of Health Services has released numbers showing how much more likely it is for individuals who are not fully vaccinated against COVID-19 to contract the virus - as well as much larger gaps when it comes to hospitalization and death rates. Now, Dane Co. health officials have provided age-adjusted figures from December"
and: "Hospitalizations and deaths see a ten-fold difference between the groups, but those gaps become full-fledged chasms when comparing the unvaccinated to the boosted in Dane Co. PHMDC figures show the former cohort are 57 times more likely to end up in the hospital than someone who went for an extra shot, and their death rates are 58 times higher."
The article has a table, that I will recreate as an HTML table, below:
